The 2018–19 Medical-Dental-Legal Update lets you hone your professional skills while earning needed continuing education credits. And now, our new online credit request process lets you do so with unparalleled convenience and speed. Indeed, you’ll receive the certificates needed to acquire your continuing education credits via email, immediately upon completing the course!
The credit request consists of two questions relating to each lecture you attend, which you can complete in real-time as you participate in the seminar on your smart phone, tablet or laptop. Better still, once you complete and submit your request, your results and your CME Category 1 credits certificate, or your CE or CLE validation of attendance, will be emailed to you…immediately!
American Educational Institute designates this enduring material for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 20 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) has a reciprocal credit agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for activities which offer Prescribed credit. CFPC members who complete these conferences may claim the equivalent number of Mainpro- M1 credits.

As AEI is an ACCME-accredited provider, The 2018–19 Medical-Dental-Legal Update qualifies for up to 20 Formally Approved Category 1 Continuing Education Hours for the purposes of ANCC certification.
The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts Category 1 CME approval from organizations accredited by the ACCME to grant Category 1 credits towards the AMA Physician Recognition Awards. Physician Assistants applying for credit for The 2018–19 Medical-Dental-Legal Update will receive a certificate granting the earned number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) accepts AMA PRA CME Category 1 credits toward its credit requirements.
