20 ABIM MOC Medical Knowledge Points

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 20 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's res­ponsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Canadian Physicians: CFPC Mainpro-M1 Credits

The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) has a reciprocal credit agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for activities which offer Prescribed credit. CFPC members who complete these conferences may claim the equivalent number of Mainpro- M1 credits.

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Certification

As AEI is an ACCME-accredited provider, The 2019–20 Medical-Dental-Legal Update qualifies for up to 20 Formally Approved Category 1 Continuing Education Hours for the purposes of ANCC certification.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are also accepted by:

The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts Category 1 CME approval from organizations accredited by the ACCME to grant Category 1 credits towards the AMA Physician Recognition Awards. Physician Assistants applying for credit for The 2019–20 Medical-Dental-Legal Update will receive a certificate granting the earned number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) accepts AMA PRA CME Category 1 credits toward its credit requirements.
